From Hemingway, SC, Margie Tanner, her daughter Robin Springs and grandson Joshua Springs grace the stages of America with anointed singing. Collectively, they are known as 'Expectation', one of the most exciting groups in gospel music today.

Margie and her husband Roger have devoted their entire lives
to ministry. As an ordained minister, Margie served as pastor
of a local church for 13 years. Since 1998, she and her family
have traveled the U.S. in full-time evangelism, singing and
preaching at various concerts, revivals, crusades and other
                          events.

As a gifted songwriter, Margie contributes the majority of the songs recorded and performed by Expectation. However, she has also enjoyed the
success of her songs as recorded by other prominent gospel
artists.

Margie and Roger have one son, Timothy and one daughter, Robin.
Timothy and his wife Jackie have one daughter, Kendalyn. They
reside in Palestine, IL and are actively involved at their local
church. Robin, the soprano voice of Expectation, makes her
home in Hemingway, SC with her son, Joshua.

Nine year old Joshua plays the acoustic guitar and sings with a voice as big as
his heart. With bright blue eyes, a charming smile and a winning personality, he
                           is thrilling audiences everywhere.

Expectation is determined to walk through every open door to
share the message of Jesus Christ.

According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing
I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now
also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or
                                  by death. (Philippians 1:20)
"In 1988 I was in a terrible automobile accident. I was told by the doctor that my left kidney was torn apart, according to the X-ray. We refused to go to surgery until the next day. Much prayer was made on my behalf. When they took me to surgery, the kidney was not torn apart as the X-ray had shown the day before. God had given me a miracle. I was supposed to walk with a limp due to injuries from the accident. God took care of that too." -Margie

"I was born totally blind. My parents were told by many doctors that their child would never be able to see because the optical nerve did not develop. But, they trusted God for a miracle. They praised God for the healing, fighting battles with satan who kept reminding them of the doctor's words, "It's Impossible". The word of God says "With God All Things Are Possible". God touched my eyes and healed me of blindness. We are so thankful to God for this miracle." -Robin

"My family witnessed the awesome power of God one Sunday night when I died during a church service. They said I had no heartbeat or breath. Everybody gathered around me and prayed while the pastor laid the Bible on me. God brought me back to life! Granny says that the hospital found no explanation for what happened, but God used that miracle to touch many lives. People were saved that were present during that service." -Joshua
Margie continues to stay on the cutting edge of ministry and the gifts of the spirit flow freely in her life. Her gifting in the evangelistic field has enabled her to proclaim the Word of God with a powerful anointing. Her ministry is further enhanced by her singing which reaches into the hearts of the congregation and inspires worship.

Margie Tanner is a truly anointed minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ through preaching and singing. She walked the road of a pastor many years before God called her to a special evangelism. Margie knows the heart of God and the needs of His people.

She has been given the words and music to songs inspired by God. As she and her daughter, Robin, minister in gospel music- you hear about, and experience the touch of God. Salvation of souls is her primary emphasis and she will lead people to Christ and inspire your people to do the same.

I've had Expectation at my church three times and the congregation keeps requesting more. In the home and in the church, their personalities are very refreshing and encouraging to be around.

Rev. Margie Tanner goes deep in the word. I don't have to find guest singers for Revival, because they can take care of all the singing, preaching, and altar service. Expect to have a great revival if you book Expectation.

Evangelist Margie Tanner has one of the most unique talents for song writing. This gift has made her singing ministry come forth with such a powerful, personal message to the church. I have watched her ministry grow over the past twenty-five years and everywhere she goes, God blesses with a powerful move of the Spirit. I had the privilege of visiting her church a couple of times during her pastoral days. Not only did she and her family build a successful church; but she left behind a solid church that had grown under her sound Biblical preaching of the Word. I can readily say that Sister Tanner has one of the greatest preaching ministries that I know!

I highly recommend Sister Tanner and Expectation ministry to any church who wants revival. When Sister Tanner comes to our church, she works well with me in the altars and we see results. As the pastor, I too am lifted up during these powerful days!
